At Ark Platforms Europe Limited (“Ark Platforms”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), we are committed to providing exceptional digital services and professional consulting. We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to provide a fair and transparent process for handling refund requests. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted, ensuring clarity for both our clients and our operational teams. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth in this document.

Part II: Detailed Service Refund Policies
1. Web Development
Our Web Development services involve an extensive process of planning, architectural design, and custom coding. Because each project is tailored to the client's specific needs, our refund policy follows a phased approach:
- Conceptual & Planning Phase: If a project is cancelled during the initial discovery and wireframing phase, we may issue a partial refund, deducting the costs of the labor hours expended and any administrative startup fees.
- Development & Execution Phase: Once custom coding and server side architecture have been initiated, refunds are calculated based on the percentage of work completed. We reserve the right to retain the full amount equivalent to the labor invested by our engineering team.
- Launch & Deployment: No refunds are issued once a website has been officially launched or the final source code has been delivered. Third-party costs related to domain registration, SSL certificates, or specialized hosting infrastructure are strictly non-refundable from the moment of purchase.
2. Software Solutions
Software Solutions at Ark Platforms cover large-scale enterprise builds and SaaS platforms. Given the complexity and resource intensive nature of these projects:
Refunds for software solutions are strictly limited to technical failure to meet the core functional requirements agreed upon in the initial Statement of Work (SOW). Changes in business direction or "preference shifts" do not qualify for a refund once development cycles (Sprints) have been authorized. Any refund issued will exclude costs associated with software licenses, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure setup (AWS/Azure/GCP).
3. Mobile Apps
The development of native and cross-platform mobile applications involves specific challenges related to platform-specific code and app store compliance:
Refund requests for Mobile App projects must be submitted prior to the submission of the application to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once the submission process has begun, the work is considered delivered. Rejections by the stores based on client content (rather than technical defects) are not grounds for a refund. However, if Ark Platforms fails to deliver a build that meets the technical standards for submission, a remedial period will be offered, or a refund for the non-delivered portion will be negotiated.
4. UI/UX Design
Design services produce unique visual assets. Our policy for UI/UX projects is centered on the revision cycle:
We provide a set number of revision rounds as specified in the service contract. Once the final designs (Figma files, assets, prototypes) have been handed over to the client, the service is considered fully rendered and no refunds will be issued. Cancellation mid-project will result in a billing adjustment based on the number of screens and components already designed at the professional hourly rate of our designers.
5. 3D Design
3D visualization and animation require significant computational resources and highly specialized expertise:
Render hours and model complexity form the basis of our 3D project costs. Once rendering has commenced, the associated costs are non-refundable due to the high energy and hardware depreciation involved in these calculations. Refunds for 3D modeling are only available for the pre-visualization phase. Assets delivered in formats such as FBX, OBJ, or final high-resolution renders are considered digital products and are non-refundable upon transfer of the files.
6. Digital Marketing
Marketing services combine technical setup with ongoing campaign management:
Campaign setup fees (SEO audits, keyword research, ad account configuration) are non-refundable once the work has been delivered. Monthly management fees can be cancelled with a 30-day notice, but work already performed during the active month will be billed. Please note that ad-spend paid directly to platforms like Google, Meta, or LinkedIn is managed by those entities and is completely outside of Ark Platforms' refund control.
7. Game Development
Game development is our most resource intensive category, involving a blend of code, art, and complex logic:
Refunds are strictly governed by milestone payments (e.g., Vertical Slice, Beta, Gold Master). Once a milestone is signed off and paid for, it is final. If a project is cancelled, the client retains ownership of the assets produced up to that point, and Ark Platforms retains the payments for the labor and licensing fees (Unity/Unreal) incurred. No refunds are issued for the technical research and development (R&D) phase once a working prototype has been demonstrated.
8. Company Formation
Critical Notice: The 48-Hour Rule
For our business registration services in the UK and US, we operate on a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. You may request a full refund within exactly 48 hours of your payment. After this period, we automatically initiate the official filing with government authorities, and the service becomes non-refundable. If Ark Platforms decides to reject your formation request for compliance or operational reasons, a 100% refund will be issued regardless of the 48-hour window.
Part III: Rejections & Operational Protocol
9. Right to Refuse Service
Ark Platforms reserves the right to reject any service request or client engagement at our sole discretion. This may occur due to conflicts of interest, feasibility concerns, violation of our internal ethical guidelines, or other business reasons. In these instances, the refund will be processed automatically, and you will be notified via email of the decision and the subsequent 100% reimbursement to your original payment method.

10. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, you must contact our billing department by sending an email to hello@arkplatforms.com with written notice. Your email must include your order number, the date of purchase, and a brief explanation of the reason for the request.
11. Processing Times
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the initial transaction. Please note that your financial institution may require additional time to reflect the credit on your statement.
